How QuickFix Device Repair runs its walk-ins

The lunch rush. Three techs, a full bench.

1

They pick the fix.

The sign at the counter has one QR code. Customers scan it and pick Screen Repair, Battery Replacement, Charging Port, Water Damage Check or Back Glass. Each fix shows its own real wait.

A 20-minute water check and an hour of back glass never share one guess, so the counter stops answering “how long?” all day.

They wait anywhere.

The smart pass shows their place and a real wait, and it updates on its own. Customers grab lunch or shop next door instead of standing at the counter.

When a tech is ready, the pass turns green and says so. It works in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and in ten languages.

You tap Notify when a tech is free.

The counter sees everyone waiting, what they need fixed and how long they’ve waited. Tap Notify and their pass calls them up. Tap Serving when the repair starts and Done when it’s handed back.

Techs mark themselves Here, On break or Off, and the waits follow. Someone walks in without scanning? Add them with a tap.

The money

Texting walk-ins costs too much. So we don’t.

A busy repair shop sees 50 walk-ins a day. A texting app sends each one about three texts. At 3¢ a text, 26 days a month, that’s the bill before the app’s own plan. Next sends no texts: the smart pass does that job, with nothing per message and no number to give.

Built for how repair shops work

Everything a repair shop needs. Nothing it doesn’t.

Real times per fix

Screens, batteries, ports and back glass each carry their own minutes, so the wait is honest.

Walk-ups at the counter

Someone walks up without scanning? Add them with a tap and call their name out loud as always.

No number to give

Customers never type a number to join. The smart pass does the job a text used to.

Ten languages

Each customer sees the pass in their own language. Your shop’s words are translated too.

Your logo and colors

Your sign, your banner and your colors on every pass.

Live in two minutes
